New Blog: "95 Theses til Election Day"

It's about 95 days until Election Day, so I've started a new blog:

"95 Theses Until Election Day"

It takes its start from Martin Luther's 95 Theses.

But Luther's Theses were limited to theology, specifically, the question of how sinners can be declared just in God's eyes.

My 95 Theses are political -- not Republican vs. Democrat, but relating to law, government, and the heart and soul of politics: getting something for nothing.

Actually, the heart and soul of politics is not just getting something for nothing, but getting salvation for nothing.

The new 95 Theses are a survey of the Bible in chronological order. They are a result of a Bible study I did years ago looking for the answer to this question: "Where in the Bible did God first command human beings to form 'the State?'"

My answer: nowhere.

If you've read this blog for any length of time, or my campaign website, you know that I don't believe in "the separation of church and state," that is, the separation of God and Government. Nevertheless, there will be more Biblical/theological discussion on the new blog, while this blog will remain dominated by political topics.

More introductory remarks and information about the new 95 Theses is found at the new blog:
