The U.S. is an Atheistic Dictatorship

The Chinese Communists block access to certain Internet sites which they do not want the Chinese people to see. It’s still difficult to challenge the party-state directly. Organizing even a study group, much less a tiny political party, can land you in jail. The Chinese government is clearly a worse dictatorship than the one complained of in the Declaration of Independence.

But so is the U.S. federal government of today. Everyone who signed the Declaration would agree: the U.S. is a tyranny worse than that of King George III.

Here's an interesting item from the Washington Post:

China demanded Thursday that the United States do more to prevent Taiwan from holding a controversial pro-independence referendum . . .

China is a dictatorship that doesn't even want Taiwan to have a VOTE on the issue of liberty. Voting is bad? Only a dictatorship would think so. Ah, but here's the rest of the sentence:

. . . but a senior U.S. official said Washington has already done all it can to get the vote called off

Yup. Voting is bad. That's the mark of a dictatorship.

Another mark of a dictatorship is state control of property. The U.S. government takes about 60% of everything you earn. Your home can be seized if the government believes someone else will pay more taxes for it. These are marks of a dictatorship.

The United States is not just a dictatorship, but it is an atheistic dictatorship. The government demands more tithes than God Himself, and then uses the money they steal to remove God from public schools and other public places. America's Founding Fathers said the government not only has a duty to be "neutral" with respect to religion, but has a duty to promote the true religion. The Supreme Court repeatedly declared that America was officially and legally "a Christian nation," but more recently the atheistic Court has been at war with Christianity.

When you look at America through the lens of those who threw tea into the Boston Harbor over a tax of 3 pence per pound, and bathed the creation of the Constitution in prayer, starting a tradition of government-sponsored prayer that still haunts atheists in Washington D.C. -- looked at through their eyes, America today is an atheistic dictatorship.

Here are some contemporary issues facing America. If America's Founding Fathers could read any one of these, they would probably declare it to be an independent justification for another American Revolution. They show the U.S. to be an atheistic dictatorship.

• The Court has rejected the most fundamental rules of interpreting the Constitution.

• The Court has completely forgotten that the Constitution is a document of "enumerated powers."

• The 2 party system is a monopoly of restricted ballot access and rigged elections against third parties.

• The government legalizes the killing of 4,000 babies every day.

• A "republican form of government" has been replaced with a system that James Madison would have called "the essence of tyranny": an "administrative state."

• The government takes two-thirds of everything you earn. You never even see one-third.

• The government prohibits teachers in our local neighborhood public schools from teaching students that the Declaration of Independence really is true.

• The government seizes private property at will.

• The government is an oligarchy.

• It carries out imperialism.

• It has killed two million innocent non-combatant men, women, and children in Iraq.

• It has destroyed the Bill of Rights.

• The government denies "The Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" and imposes disobedience of those laws.

• The government debases the currency, stealing billions of dollars from citizens.

• The government is choking off liberty around the world through untold thousands of tentacles of atheism and immorality.

• The government has officially repudiated its duty to Christ.

• The government has repudiated "True Religion".

• The government repudiates The National Duty to God.

• The government has turned this nation into an idolatrous Cult of statism.

Every single person who signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, if they could compare the United States with the Soviet Union and Communist China, would say all three are atheistic dictatorships.

The US blocked voting for Vietnam- the communists would have won the election.

In a more local example, the Union refused to consider the duly elected Confederate government legitamate.

We DON'T live in a democracy- we live in a Republic.

Uh... State Property is the mark of Communism. As Hitler, Franco, Tojo and Mussilini showed it isn't needed for totalitarianism.

"Your home can be seized if the government believes someone else will pay more taxes for it."

Actually that is the mark of a corporitship state- one where all people are equal, but rich people are more equal.

A dictatorship is a country ruled by one person who is nonelected. The US and China aren't dictatorships- the US is a representative Republic and China is an authoritarian oligarchy.

"The government demands more tithes than God Himself, and then uses the money they steal to remove God from public schools and other public places."

Tanks cost money. Or do you want the Soviets to steam roll us? The Cold War is over, but the basic argument still stands- governments need money. If they don't get a certain amount they end up like Poland.

As for removing God from government funded projects and governmnet locations... the government isn't a theocracy. It has no obligation to faith AND in fact has the first amendment.

As for the US being designed as a Christian Nation... Jefferson was a deist who was accused of trying to take away people's bibles. He was our third president.

As for "true religion"... you are familiar with the 30 years war? That is the reason the founders made our country a secular republic.

• The Court has rejected the most fundamental rules of interpreting the Constitution.

I am amazed that you have the power to read the minds of the founders.

• The Court has completely forgotten that the Constitution is a document of "enumerated powers."

The has blatantly exceded its mandate? Surprise surprise. However All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States means what Congress says it means. It is the miracle of the term "legislative power".

• The 2 party system is a monopoly of restricted ballot access and rigged elections against third parties.

There are more than two parties. The restriction is the way elections are held... which was established by the founders.

• The government legalizes the killing of 4,000 babies every day.

Abortion was legal until the 1830s. Which means the Founders approved.

• A "republican form of government" has been replaced with a system that James Madison would have called "the essence of tyranny": an "administrative state."

Actually the essence of tyranny is a government that doesn't follow its own rules. Which we have. Power is NOT tyranny.

• The government takes two-thirds of everything you earn. You never even see one-third.

You do realize the government spends it, thus insuring you benefit significantly from that? I mean, your clothes come from Asia, which is open to use trade because our carriers patrol the sea.

• The government prohibits teachers in our local neighborhood public schools from teaching students that the Declaration of Independence really is true.

The declaration of independance is a document of revolt, not a statement on the nature of reality.

• The government seizes private property at will.

This power is explicatly spelled out in the bill of rights. Once again, founders.

• The government is an oligarchy.

Nope. We have elections- we aren't an oligarchy if people can be voted out. It looks that way because of demogagury and corruption.

• It carries out imperialism.

Imperialism is good for the home country. And country run on self interest.

• It has killed two million innocent non-combatant men, women, and children in Iraq.

Bush is... well, the line between evil and stupid is razor thin. Of course, people like you are part of the reason he was able to gain power in the first place- when people who rail against government abuse go to the loony fringe they discredit the whole.

• It has destroyed the Bill of Rights.

Which happened under Bush. Perhaps it is Republicans and not the government to blame?

• The government denies "The Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" and imposes disobedience of those laws.

The government exists to benefit its citizens. It does not recognize ANY higher authority.

• The government debases the currency, stealing billions of dollars from citizens.

I know. It sucks- the value of the dollar has halved. It is a major reason gas is twice as expensive.

• The government is choking off liberty around the world through untold thousands of tentacles of atheism and immorality.

So what? Duty is to the people, not foreigners. As long as the government is doing war crimes or blatant hypocricy and shoting itself in the foot, it is fine.

• The government has officially repudiated its duty to Christ.

Render unto Ceaser that which is Ceaser's.

• The government has repudiated "True Religion".

The government does not wish to cause a second civil war.

• The government repudiates The National Duty to God.

We don't have one. A duty implies an agreement. Nations don't make permanent agreements- they have no permanent allies, only permanent interests.

• The government has turned this nation into an idolatrous Cult of statism.

The idea of police seems to be a good one. Cult would imply religious devotion.

"Every single person who signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, if they could compare the United States with the Soviet Union and Communist China, would say all three are atheistic dictatorships."

Nope. China now lets people practice religion as a contribution to "social harmony". The Soviet Union let people practice Eastern Orthodoxy. And the US does the same. You are confusing secular with atheistic. Our... "fearless leader" is a fanatical religious nutjob.

To be fair they would object to all three- I think the idea of "indefinate imprisonment" would be a kicker.

Thank you Mr. Skinner. That post made me sick it was so biased. Of course, I don't totally agree with everything you said, but who can. The nation, I believe started as a Christian nation and has slowly turned from that, but it is by no means a "Dictatorship" or a "Oligarchy".
